Flapjacks Anyone?

While enjoying a lovely holiday in London, England this April, I stumbled upon a granola bar-like treat called a Flapjack. A combination of oats, butter, and golden syrup, this new discovery had me returning to Tesco (a London food store) for more and more! Sometimes covered in a Toffee or Chocolate glaze, flapjacks are moist and chewy and super duper delicious! However, since I returned back to the States, I have yet to enjoy another flapjack. For months now I've been researching flapjack recipes, but nothing seems to hold a candle to the ones I enjoyed in London. If any of my British followers have a flapjack recipe and are willing to share it with me, PLEASE let me know! I am dying for a wonderful British treat! I thank you much!
